Following the tragic death of the teamworker, reporter Alex Mazilu is tormented by the remorse that the blame for the incident is partly his. Although he can not fix the incident, Alex decides to shoot a short documentary in his memory, and three days before Christmas he arrives in the native town of the shore operator of the Black Sea. There, trying to gather the pieces of the puzzle of life, to a man he barely knows, the reporter meets his 15-year-old daughter, who is experiencing a difficult period of his life. To help the family of the dead in some way and to diminish their own sense of guilt, Alex tries to take his place and do some of the things that need to be done. It turns out that this is much harder than the 35-year-old man ever imagined.
